Chemistry hosts EXCEED-SWINDON Training Course

The Department of Chemistry hosted an EXCEED-SWINDON Regional Training Course on the “Importance of Social and Economic Integration in Water Resource Management in the Context of Sub-Sahara Africa” from 7-10 September 2015.

The main objective of the course was to share experiences, knowledge, and research results among the lecturers and students and to discuss main problems and challenges in the field of water management in Sub Saharan Africa Region.

The course, which was officially opened by the Principal, Professor Richard Tambulasi drew participants from Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Germany, Ethiopia, Kenya, Nigeria and the hosts Malawi.  The resource persons at the course included our local experts and others from Germany, Kenya and Burkina Faso.
